Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years in Commercial Roofing Experience
•
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
•
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
•
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
•
Proficiency in using construction estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid
•
Excellent mathematical skills for accurate quantity take-offs and cost calculations
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
•
Effective communication skills to collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
•
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities
•
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
•
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope of work and required materials
•
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
•
Utilize construction estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create comprehensive estimates
•
Research and obtain pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
•
Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements
•
Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate the bidding process
•
Review project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
•
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information for accurate estimating
