Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Roofing Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and securing new commercial roofing projects. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and our technical teams to deliver exceptional roofing solutions that meet the needs of our commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with commercial property owners, property managers, general contractors, and other key decision-makers.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue leads in the Baltimore, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia markets.
- Conduct site visits and roof inspections to assess the condition of roofs and provide accurate project estimates.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, including scope of work, pricing, and timelines, to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the project management and technical teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial roofing sales or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results.
- Ability to conduct thorough roof inspections and provide accurate assessments.
- Familiarity with the Baltimore, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia markets is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to read blueprints and plans.
- Be proficient in all types of roofing systems, including single-ply, built-up, metal, shingles and other accessories.
- 1-3 years of work experience in commercial/ residential construction.
- Ability to put together detailed proposals in Acculynx for service work.
- Ability to put together detailed survey reports to pass off to our internal commercial estimator to accurately put together estimates for re-roof projects.
- Climb ladders and walk roofs.
